In my world...It's getting good
As most of you know I'm in Harkers Island now chasing False Albacore and my favorite...Speckle Trout. For those that love Speckle Trout fishing, it is starting to get good here. This week we have had 2 days with 30 or so fish,,,nice fish. One day with we had 6 that were kept and none under 3 pounds.
Yesterday, on a half day, we had 14 keepers, that were kept, and about 30 caught, with this nice 4 & 1/2 pound caught by Dr. Beckwith being the top fish of the day. I feel that with this cold front we are having now, its only going to get better.

I would love to post more pictures but I have liminted ability to internet access ( bad cell service) and it takes about 30 minutes to post a picture and a report...I'm just glad I can do that from here though...

So Lee likes them Specks? You need to make a run this way Lee...we are known for the RedFish & Trout that lurk in the Laguna Madre (especially Baffin Bay). Not pics of me, but here's a couple of the gators that are caught daily... enjoy. Here's a link of a few more... if ya got a question about a "Corkie" ... I 'll attach a pic to this thread, give me a minute.
Here's the link for Corky's. I don't do too much inshore, but these are what the guys talk about around here. http://www.corkybandl.com/tips.htm

Good to hear from you captain Lee. I know how much you love that place this time of year, so enjoy it!
And when the big girls come pushing through the rocks, be sure to catch & photograph a NC gator for our Texas friends to see!
