Thanks guys, wow love the questions and comments
Crazy Eyes, you bet, Dr "B" is a great person and I love fishing with him, we always have a lot of fun...
GALAZIO, wish I could get down that way. As far as Corky's go yes I know about them and have a few of them in my box and for that matter, I have some from the original maker before they got "knocked" off and are what they are now...
We also get the "Gators", we got them here also, not in the numbers you have them but we lost one at the boat that I think would have gone over 6 pounds 2 days ago...shoulda...woulda...maybe coulda...that's fishing
puttputt, give me a call when you get on the Island, maybe we can have dinner...Trout??? '
SeaBiscuit, you Slip and Matt come fish some "dirty water" Trout with me...it will be good for you...
Dink Bait, that would be Ruby, she is a 13 year old Yellow Lab that still the drive to do it...she is a great fishing partner and loves Trout...
matey1, cool, glad that it all worked out for you, hope you caught some fish...
gradywhite273, COME ON DOWN!!! We'll have some fun!
hubris 1, difference in a Gray and a Speck... Speck has big speckles and a Gray or Weakfish has small ones.... Speck is usually larger than Gray and found in deeper water here most of the time the Speck here is whiter than the Gray...wish It was easer for me to post pictures here...a picture is worth a thousand words
sort of looks like a brown trout. the one your holding. now i need to catch some. with my intelligence and powers of observation.........should take about, 4 years.
"When your warm & safe ...say nothing" or what the hell it's been over a 2
weeks now.........2 Citations on topwater - total for the day 12.........ICM

I been workin the surf around here, but last few days, the blues have got so bad you cannot fish. some of them are getting damn near 3lbs ,and giving a helluva time on a old busted topdog
i think im hopping back into the kayak, throw the dry top on, put the scupper plugs in, and start working these creek trout again..topwater has been good for me too here.
Great time of year for sure. There's been all the 2-3 pound fish you can stand around here (at least before this cold snap)... couple bigger fish mixed in.
Enjoy it guys... ain't nothing better.
Lee - Gotta agree that LATELY the specks are bigger than the Grays. The days of 10 lb Grays not even getting a second look seem to be gone... I miss'em.
