    My Vacation in Wilmington....

Wednesday I headed as a tourist with his hands in his pockets to Seabiscuit's place. The plan was to go out with Holwatchagot and dig for bottom critters on Thursday with maybe a Hog.
The Greek Chef Treated us to a Five Star meal.... My taste buds are asking for more as I attach these pictures!

After a late Cognac we checked the weather and it looked like we'd have to stay "close" as things would probably build up rapidly around noon.
With the good dose of Cognac the Boss didn't hear the 2 alarm clocks but after a couple coffees we were on our way to some gag spots...

It didn't take long to fill a limit of good sized groupers releasing quite a few smaller ones.

As we were about to leave a fish hit the flat line and we were hoping for a king. The baby pulled and pulled and .3 miles later Nick landed a tail hook albie on 20lbs leader....
We headed back and I was introduced to "The Dox's" or the Godfather's bikini hunting grounds! Some storms were rolling in so the Game was scares but I sure enjoyed the softshell samwich with a couple Modelo's...
We then headed to Slip Slidin's and the plan was to go flounder fishing. As we got to the spot the next storm was comiing through and the wind picked up big time! That Contender and Capt Nick ran against building seas just fine and impressed us running through Carolina Beach inlet...
Slip invited us for some great snacks and provided dry cloths...
What a place you have Nick and that Tapenade tasted real good!

Took some footage but Youtube has given me a hard time uploading so I cut and Cut then seperated in two parts...
Not easy to decide on a few minutes out of an hour of filming!
Thanks a bunch Nick for this wonderful vacation I'm tempted now to go back to school with Jacky!!!!

Not sure which looks better - the fishing or the Eats - Glad you didn't have to decide between the two.

    Fine work
