For me, this (the internet) has never been about economics. Being sponsored or trying to run a business on here is nothing more than a muzzle.

I've always rigged them like everyone else but is there a reason we don't put both ends of the mono coming in and out of the hook through the chin weight? Also does it matter where you connect the monel?

You have to rig whatever way you like it best. When I first started rigging, that was the way I did it and it was the best wahoo proofing ( and tuna teeth on light flouro) that you could do.

However I found doing it that way caused the hook to push down ( sometimes out the bottom of the gill latch ) and the bait doesn't swim right.


Ohh yeah, the monel. A lot people wrap the monel around the hook. That gives it almost a stiff rig affect. Like I said, you need to do what works for you.
