Well as you know the OI thing is a thing of the past. But there are a lot of guys that can do it at night in the NE. I would have to see that hook, but the general approach was as light weight as possible, so the chunk looked like the others.

We used gamagatsu's in 6, 7 and 8/0.

I promise much more. To Answer your question, lack of content prompted me. I'm talking about content that is not associated with a sale. I'm NOT posting ideas that you need to go out and purchase to be successful. I'm looking for the "I went yesterday and this is what I did." No strings attached. No doodoo in a shiny wrapper.

The other thing is nobody is shutting their pieholes long enough for anyone to make a purely informational post. And if they do, its lost in an ocean of posts with stupid questions or sales pitches by the days end.

Now, regarding your file holder. You need to match the size of the PVC to your file. The 10" version takes 3/4 and the 12" files take one inch.

I haven't been able to find it recently - either in stores or online. Wish I could - would much prefer to be able to rinse a rig that doesn't get hit and not have to rerig it everytime...

Thats cool thanks Dman for the pic post up. We actually were talking hardwire leader, instead of wire line.

Anyway, regarding single strand silver stainless leader...I had to opportunity to spend the evening with Loyd Eastlack from Bugem bait in Wilmington ( and his lovely wife ) He was up for our club meeting. He is so great. An original OI charter boat captain, as well as Morehead. I have know him for as long as I have been going offshore. Anyway, he assures me he can get it, but is sold out at the moment, because someone in Raleigh had just got the 6 packs he had. But he told me he has more on order. Because I'm not in Wilmington, I just never think about his shop for some reason.
