To honor Box's request for us to write what in your head today. . . This is what I was doing before the contracted work day started. Key word contracted.

This is a cool site. It is a segment on a fishing show called knot wars. There were several test on several popular knots. This particular link is a test between the palomar and the eye crosser knot. Look around the linked site and you can find other knot tests.

I've wondered if my use of the palomar knot was the best choice. I'm impressed that it is as good a choice as any that I've used.

The palomar is a geat knot and works well with small or heavy lines,been around a long time, is also a small knot in size. It is a go to knot...

My fishing mentor told me to learn 5 or 6 good knots and get good at them so you can tie them in a rocking boat. Here are mine;

1. Palomar
2. Snell
3. Improved clinch
4. Blood knot
5. Rapala knot
6. Double uni knot.
