RAIN....RAIN....RAIN....AND MORE RAIN!! That's how I'm gonna have to start the next volume here. It's rockin' outside like you wouldn't believe. Thi Tropical Storm came to the Turks and Caicos and just stopped right on top of us. It's just sitting here giving us a constant pounding. Not like a hit and run which would do a lot less damage. Anyways, this is what it looks like outside my room. I'm gonna go check on the boats in a bit and I'll get more pics then.

Hanna was just upgraded to a category 1 hurricane and it's a 100 miles from here...!!!

My mom says that it's predicted to hit the SC/GA border by Friday. Watch out Hilton Head.

One of our mahogany trees just came down.

What's amazing to me is that we still have internet and television.

We did drive down to check on the boat and it's a lot worse out here where we are than it is inland and on the other side of the island.

I just stuck the Lat/long on Google earth.

Its now only 51 miles from us, and we are seeing 75 mph winds. It's moving WSW so its not really going away from us very fast, and it might get worse before it does. dang.

These things sure are noisy, ain't they.

correction, I just plotted the five oclock position,that sonofagun is moving SOUTH and is now only forty miles from us, with winds up to 80.

This is getting ugly.

No shit....I went outside for a minute and took gravel rocks to my back at about 80 mph. This damn thing is sitting on top of us and getting stronger.

Captain John, being a Carolina boy, I know you've see you fair share of these things over the years. It gets old, doesn't it?
