and yes, the computer models seem to be showing it going a little to the north... YEA!! winds have diminshed () to 130....

When we finally got off "The Hill that Became an Island" without thinking to grab a couple cans of dog food....I ended up feeding Dooley some cheeseburgers for a couple days.

NOW the little shit expects to ride up front in the passenger seat, wants his own bank account, and has been talking to realtors in Panama....

He thinks he graduated from dog to human when he started getting burgers....

No way could we fly away and leave him in a local kennel with plywood tops for shade over chain link fences outside while a hurricane was coming here....NO way.

the issue is with the paperwork... no power... no rabies certificate... etc...

It's funny - someone mentioned to us before Hanna soemthing about important paperwork including Dooley's. It never occured to me why. It's definitely a must on the hurricane preparedness list.

I'm having to relearn a few things. All those years in New England kinda got me out of the hurricane mode I grew up with in Texas.

Hanna was a slap in the face, that's for sure.
