I think Admin is going to let me have this space
Nope....didn't happen. I just got internet back again. Hopefully for good this time. We'll see how long it lasts I guess. We had a big after Hurricane party last night for all the employees. Fresh lobster, prime Rib, chicken, fresh desserts, and cold beer.
This is how it turned out. No, it's not fishing, but that's coming soon. After all the cleaning, repairing, and delivering supplies to S. Caicos....it's good to see how everyone is getting back to normal.

Still having internet problems here, especially at night. I'll see if I can get this report in before it goes off again.
Today was the first time in almost a month that I was able to go fishing with all the storms and all. Unfortunately, the storm did more damage underwater than it did on land. The fishing was very, very slow.
After having such bad luck, we decided to go for a snorkel to check it out. What we saw was depressing. Very little life as far as fish goes, but more importantly the reefs were blown flat. All the sea fans, loose coral, etc. was just scattered all over the bottom. Even the sunken sailboat that you've seen in recent reports was gone. Not just moved, but gone completely. I scanned a 1/2 mile area for it and found nothing.
Though the water looked very clear from the surface, once you got underwater it was definately not the beautiful blue it once was.
It was more of a teal green instead. The water is still clear, but nothing like it was. I'm sure over time it'll come back, but the wait until them is gonna suck though.

John, it will come back and if you look enough, you will find life in other areas when it was not before. I see that the
scenery is still easy on the eyes...
