My little "Island" in this "World" Vol. 4

Sorry I'm not getting a report out until the 7th of this month. It's been a slow beginning to the month over here. Had lots of rain and bad weather the first few days of June and it finally cleared up yesterday. Had a good friend from the U.S. here last week and she had a blast. Did lots of snorkeling and fishing, but unfortunately my camera went snorkeling as well. I had to take pics and stay on the boat since I was still sore from my ripped arm ligament. Anyways, I borrowed a camera until my new one came in a took a few pics even though the weather wasn't great. I had Jane Fonda and her family here today and took them shallow reef fishing. Being the environmentalist she is, we released all the fish. However as soon as they left, I grabbed my boy Creighton and we went to go do some killin'. Ended up doing good on the snappers and caught a big ocean triggerfish. Not bad for an hour of reef fishing. The lemon sharks were happy because there were several at the cleaning table eating everthing we pitched over. Seems like we got a slow week coming up until next weekend. Hopefully I can get out and do some fun fishing in the mean time.

Glad to know that your arm is getting better and to see you on the boat again. Were having the Bermuda highs for weather this week, Dolphin and Wahoo's are on the break and snapping as well as the Spanish are on the beach thick...thought you may like a fishing report from home...
    Get well soon...she huh... hummmmmm....

Thanks for the state side report Lee. It seems it's been pretty good lately. As far as my friend goes, it's not like that. She's an old friend that had a massive brain injury several years ago that involved some amnesia. She used to love to scuba dive, fish, etc. but forgot after she had to move to Wisconsin to be near her parents. I thought this would be a good reminder of what it used to be like. It worked though, she started remembering a lot after a few days.

You had to be nice and polite to Jane Fonda? Man,that just sucks.

I hope you got paid extra for bringing her back ashore safely.

Well, maybe you could get some info from this site:

    http://www.1stcavmedic.com/jane_fonda.htm

Many Viet Nam vets think she should have been charged with "giving aid and comfort to the enemy". Many people alive during the Vietnam War call it treason. She got away with it because she was a celebrity, wealthy, and connected.

The alternative sure would have been smart for a Proffessional Captain/guide.

Well, I understand now. But when she comes back, I'm still gonna have a smile on my face and do my job no matter what. She seemed like a nice enough person to me and that's what I have to go by.
