my las fishing trip of 08

Went fishing the 26th 27th and 29th. The first day the fishing was great lots of sailfish in the spreads 8 in total, just 2 hook ups but after a couple of jumps they threw the hooks(sharp less hooks). We headed south from Acajutla, tons of baitfish and millions of bonitos (we were looking for mahi and sailfish) after a while the fist hook up in a pink octopus/mullet with my new daisy chain (Thanks for the tips). we have a great time swiming in the bait balls, at the end of the day there were some bonitos in the icebox just for fun and a Mahi in the15 pound mark.
I really enjoy looking all the mess of the free spool in the reels while baiting the sails.

Thanks for all the nice comets, that hole in the water was created by a mahi mahi.
Swimming in the bait balls is king of psycho you are just waiting for something big to appear kind of scary.
Well back to the fishing trip, the 27th was a nice day, tons of bait balls and thousands of dolphins, in schools as large as 2 miles (shame any YFT) at a time there were like 8 dolphins playing around the spreads.
Well, after a long wait the firth mahi was caught, it was at the 15 pound mark, ten minutes later another mahi hit the same pink lure. It was Around 3 pm when my cousin opens his big mouth and said that if he caught a sail fish he will pay everything for the trip.
Guess what 3 minutes after a small sail fish appear in the LC in a 6in blue/white pusher, free spool 1,2,3,4, close the spool and you got your sailfish it was nuts.
After a nice fishing day we get back to the beach house, and have a nice diner.

If you don't mind me asking him much does it cost to charter a panga like that for the day, and is there beach houses for rent too?

The 23ft panga cost around $100/ day, but you have to take your own fishing tackle and food. The 30ft panga cost $180/day.
Sorry, the house is not for rent. But there are some nice houses that cost $200/day.
