Still alive and well. Sitting here in P town. Not much to it. Spurge got 2 this week, 4-500 lbers core at the corner. Some hooked here and there in the bay. About 20 boats fishing during the week. Maybe 4 or 5 caught. As for the 130 leader, we were using that on the floaters and ballons in ME. Down here we are using 180 and 200lb off the kites. You are right there isn't much leader in the water. Salivars, thats it JD, sure would have liked to do a canyon trip while I am here. Fishing is slow here right now and the boss is thinking about going home for a week. I will stay here in P town and see if I can get a ride while he is gone. I can't sit at the dock while there is a chance of catching a fish. We are way overdue. On our way down we spent the first night at the fingers, no love. Up and at em early make our way south. about 3 miles we start seeing birds, whales and fish busting. Smalls with a few legals mixed in. We toss out a couple bars and I rigged up a couple boston macks, venezualean style and put one down on the planer. Inline just like wahoo fishing. Number 10 Super Mutu through the floss, swimming like a champ. Ten minutes down and she gets hammered. Short 60 inch fish. Rig up another and put it down, 20 minutes later she 's on again, 69 inches. We need a fish stretcher. So far 5 shorts since I've been up here. Our day will come, each day we are one day closer to getting our first Giant. I hope it comes soon.
Thanks for the update Rick... We'd love to see pictures of your New England Adventures. What's the water temp?
A few more inches and the next one will be good...
