And the Pulitzer prize for best post on SFC goes to...................................
Sea Biscuit! Very nice read sir.
Very nice read and so true.
I love catching fish but its better catching fish that I've worked for. I love finding new bottom or going off on my own to explore other areas. Most of the time it doesn't pay off but when it does how sweet it is.
Butch
Nick, did those 2 slabs that I saw you unload at Bridge Tender come on stingsilversIm waiting on that report
Good deal, we were eating at Bridge Tender and I turned around and saw you throw that nice cobe on the dock![]()
S.B. very good and true, thing that most dont relize is the time most of us has spent on the water to learn and watch, one of my best times was down where capt john is now, spent 2 years there and no one around while fishing and no one to run through your spread, really makes you stop and think.
yall dont bust on me to hard but there was alot of time after work id run out and not fish just shut the boat off turn the sat radio on pop a top a just watch and listen for hours for what mother nature was trying to teach me as she has taught all of us thats willing to learn and made us who we are.
hell yes we all have or funny quirks and can be a big pain in the ass for others but we all have the love of one thing is fishing and good people no matter where you are from and that gives us the feeling of being alive, mabey sometimes we need to look more at the simple things of life that made us feel good, wish yall all the very best good luck, shane r![]()
Most excellent post Nick, and your statement of "my favorite fishing spot is the one I find next" is most true!
And nice pic of the African pomp. How 'bout a good 'ole fashion "Sea Biscuit" report to follow?
Here it is Keith, compliments of my guest Finrazor Mike:
