Mr Box a Question
If you were going to design a "pit" on a 50ft boat what size would you want? What would you have and were? Is there an ideal lay out? Or is it always make do? With what you are given, how much teak, no teak, chair no chair, I know it is a very open question, but lets say we fish for what ever bites, a real fun sled, what would you really like to have down there, to make your life so much better.
Or more important what would you NOT have.

Perfect Pit Set-Up
These are the items i would have if i was building a boat:
1. Teak Deck
2. Electric Reel Outlets
3. Fighting Chair or Rocket Launcher depending on size of tackle and targeted species.
4. Cockpit Misters
5. Big Fish Boxes
6. Lots of Tackle storage
7. Clearing Rod holders
8. Live Wells
9. Gaff and Mopp Storage
10. Transom Door
11. Teak Covering Boards
The teak is alot of work but is does look pretty.
