Morehead Saturday Trash Report

I started my day off with some techinical difficulty that I didn't get resolved until 10am. Left the inlet and was in the fleet on the 650-660 line finally at noon. We went three for three on the big bluefish and that was it. This spring, fishing has really been off.

On the way home we stopped and tried to jig on one spot and I caught a lizard fish. I had one real bite that pulled off.




So 90 miles, 3 Blulefish and 1 lizard fish. Boats in the shop, I'm home early.

For what it is worth , At least it looks like you had great company on board not to mention a few fish with nice weather Hope the boat thing gets resolved for ya quickly ! Thanks for the report & pics Jim

I can tell you that you didn't miss anything in the morning. We couldn't buy a knockdown until 11:30 - and it didn't sound like many others did much better in the morning. There was a bit of a bite later on, but not much.

We were out earlier and did not fair much better to the North so you certainly did not miss anything. Still was a nice day on the water!!!
