Morehead, Morehead, Here I Come

Well, the weather guessers are saying things are going to lay out mid week and we'll have light & slight Fri-Sun. If the forecast holds, I'll be relocating the Tuna Taxi from Virginia Beach to Morehead City. We'll be leaving Friday morning and fishing to Hatteras, then Fishing Hatteras to MHC on Saturday, ending up at the MHC Yacht Basin, Slip D-66. Can't wait to get down there, and I hope all you MHC guys are ready for the slew of stupid questions I'll be asking as I learn to fish the area (I apoligize in advance).

Right now, the crew looks like Me, my son Garrett, & Glenn W on the way down, with a possible 4th if a buddy of mine can get off work. Glenn doesn't crank on a fish unless he's in Central America, so I have room for a couple more if anyone wants to make the trip. My bride will be down Sat evening and I plan to head to the New Bern airport to get a rental car if we need extra seats back to VB. Send me a PM if anyone is interested.

Those reels you tuned for me are going to get a workout down there. And Dan still has his boat in Shark River so I look forward to joining you in the Hudson this summer. If not on his boat, we'll get up with you.

BTW: If anyone needs reels overhauled, send them to Capt Brian Daley. He brought my teaser reels back from the dump to where I'm gonna put them on a rod again!

I feel like a kid in a candy shop. I'm not going to get any work done this week with the trip coming up. #1 Gaffman signed on for the voyage, and I told him that any banana pranks will get him keel-hauled.

There might be a beer or 2 at the Yacht Basin sat night, if anyone is around stop by for a beverage.
