Guys ... I need some guidance. I have a buddy coming into town... not this coming weekend, but the next and I have promised that I would put him on a reef donkey or two. He is an avid fly fisherman from Montana, so I want to show him the other end of the spectrum

My question is ... it looks like we might have some weather to contend with so how close can we find some AJ's out of Beaufort Inlet. I remember last year they were all over AR330 at some point but I don't remember what time of year it was. I would love to find them in that close so he doesn't have to puke on my boat Also ... if we find them on the near shore Wrecks should I toss some live baits or poppers as opposed to jigs?

LOL ... Any time someome is willing to cover my fuel for me to go catch them an Amberjack ... I am gone. I will take any and all fishing I can get this summer!

Thanks Caleb. Was wondering if they were at the Hutton yet. Would rather head there as opposed to jumping the shoals. Is that where you found them recently?

I'm sure theres a plenty on the tops of NWP's, AR305. Poppers and jig will usually bring them up.
