I spoke to Jodie Monk a few weeks ago. He was kind enough to send me a couple monk's. We did just what bert said and it worked like a charm. Good thing Glenn wasn't on the boat because I bet the batteries on my portable defib are dead.

The action on these lures were outstanding. I feel like the best spot would be either behind a bar down the middle or on a flatline. BUT as anyone who has been on my boat knows the flats are reserved for naked dinks all day everyday.

Thanks guys. Think I'll try it first on a mono leader w/ hook pinned tight as explained on the web page I don't have a drill press so I'll be using a needle eye. All kidding aside, I bet it would be great behind a bar if you're inclined to pull one.
de hooker is always hanging in it's spot--- until it's time to use it then--- "who in the hell moved my de hooker "----

Seems I've heard (said) that line a few time too.

THE REASON ONE PUTS IT OUT ON A HOT BITE ....DU HUHHH.....IS JUST THAT ....IT'S A BLISTERING HOT BITE AND IT'S BACK INTO THE WATER WITH OUT HAVING TO RE-BAIT...DUD HUH
    Marty,
All that was meant by what I said was is using a new lure in a hot bite as a TEST of the lures capability to produce is NOT a good TEST.

Sure, it may be a good lure for the task at hand, catching and getting out fast, but the way I read Glenn's question was for the mediocre days.

I have an assortment of lures that don't get wet unless we're in a hot mahi bite, just because they don't do all that well on the days when it's a little tough out there.

When I buy something new, I'll try it for a few trips, moving it around until I find where the fish like it. If it doesn't get a response, away it goes until the bite is on to see if it indeed will catch something. If it can't catch a mahi, which you know very little can't, away in the garage it goes never to see the water again.

Now Glenn- If I did read your ? correctly, I stand by what I said. If it was misinterpreted, disregard it.

    Mark
