That is a very personal question!! lol

Everyone has their different choices... as for mine i like to go with all momoi.. i have been using it for a long long time and the breaking strength is higher than the rated test and it is just a great line with diamete and feel!! also have a decent abrasion resistance..

That is my opinion.. tries suffix but just didnt like it ot much.

thanks for the replies, we have always used mommoi, but some guys are talking up the sufix. I guess I'll have a reel or two loaded with sufix before I buy a big spool.

I really like the Sufix and that's what I have on all my gear. I had bad experiences with Momoi Hi-Catch breaking and won't use it (may have been a bad lot), the Diamond is a very different line and I haven't had any problems with it, but its larger diameter makes it not so attractive to me. The diamond does have a higher breaking strength, but any mono with a larger diameter than its class will have a higher breaking strength.

But, to each his own. Its sorta like the penn vs. shimano, ford vs. chevy, regulator vs. contender arguments. You'll get equal opinions on both sides, and none of them will replace you trying the other and deciding for yourself.

FOR 30 YEARS I NORMALLY BUY WHAT IS ON SALE BELEIVE IT OR NOT....I HAVE USED EVERY IMAGINABLE BRAND OUT THERE...THEY ALL CLAIM TO BE THE BEST....99 TIMES OUT OF 100 LINE FAILURES ARE FROM ANGLER ERROR OR RIGGING ERROR ANYWAY....SO

I USE A TRUCK LOAD OF SUFFIX SIMPLY BECAUSE I BUY IT BY THE 9LB SPOOL FOR ONLY $149.50 ....I CHANGE OUT MAININE LIKE A MOTHER CHANGES INFANT DIAPERS ANYWAY SO.......

NOW ANDE IS VERY TOUGH...I LIKE ANDE BUT IT IS 239 A 9LB SPOOL....

MOMOI IS LIKE A BROOM STICK TO ME...AND DIAMOND LINE HAS A BRITE SHEEN TO IT...

I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO.......BUT GIVE ME A CLEAR LINE AND A PROPERLY SET DRAG........AND I AM HAPPY

Sufix clear... I was ande then momoi then made the switch and have stuck here for about ten years now. I have diamond top shot on my tournie sticks and I get realisticly only ten days trolling time on it before change is needed...
