Mississippi Mangoves and others, good trip!

Me and several friends went out of Pascagoula, Ms this past weekend so I could show them my mangrove snapper techniques. The conditions were perfect except for the fact that everywhere we went there were 10lb red snaps all over the surface and 21" gag grouper piled up on the surface inside the rigs...Every rig we visited. That would be great except our wonderful NMFS deems red snapper on the brink of extinction

...We still managed to get 17 mangroves, 1 trigger, 8 spadefish, and a lone donk spanish mack. Thats what we brought to the house but we released probably 50 reds snapper, 30 or so gags, and 3 red drum. Lots of action and it was great to get to spend time with friends of mine from home. We never got past 60' and 15 miles. Now I am getting psyched up for a serious bloodletting with Alex and Dan in Venice, 7 days and counting
