    Missing Fisherman off NC/SC Coast

Yesterday morning a twin engine CC was found with engines running and lines out on the beach at 60 th aveN. No one aboard. Boat left out of NC Thursday morning with lone fisherman. Coast Guard cutters and helicpters searching for fisherman at this time. Looks like he was trolling, may have fell out and boat continued to beach where it was found. Hopefully they can trace his route and locate him if hes treading water. Prayers go out to him and his family.

Another reminder to have my PLB on me whenever I head off shore. This could happen to anyone, even you and me.

Did they ever find the missing fisherman? Any updates?

What a tragic story, prayers sent to family.

That is to bad. I don't wear a life jacket when i head offshore with a group of people but if you have to get out and are by yourself please wear a vest because no one there to turn around and get you if you fall off. Prayers go out to the family

So sad. WEAR your friggin kill switch lanyard! Especially if you are alone or alone with kids. The kill switch lanyard should be the FIRST thing you put on. Then your flotation device.
    So sad.
