After having lunch and talking with BOX on Christmas Eve, I decided to give the video a shot on a day of trout fishing. Spent five hours on New Years Eve with the camera looking and fishing for trout on a small river. We went to a stretch of the Middle Fork of the Holston River located in the town of Marion Virginia for some urban trout. Amazing that the intire video is captured within site of the back doors of many older homes along the surrouneded hills and about 3 blocks from main street. Enjoy the action these boys have that make up My World and many reports usually showing only still shots! Netman
Awsome as always Netman. It brings back memories of me and my 2 brothers trout fishing the Little River in Cedar Mtn. NC up in Transylvania Co. It ran right through my grandfathers pasture and every summer we would spend a month there. First we would go to the barn or chicken coup and try and find a wasp nest to knock down so we could use the larve for bait. Then walk a 1/2 mile through the pasture catching grasshoppers as we went. Some great days of fishing that I sorely miss. We were about the same age as your boys and spent most of those fishing trips un-chaperoned. That property has long been sold and developed and I only see my bros about twice a year now, but as Nolan and Wyatt will find out later in life, those days are cherished and often remembered. Great job on providing them with the oppertunities for adventure.
When I first saw the pics of trout in the snow, I thought they were spotted trout. See, Thats why life up here can really SU%$! I would love to be able to do that year round.
