Well we fished home on Saturday from MHC started out on the 450 in 45 fathoms on a nice grass edge and temp break. Lots of life skipjacks, tinker macks and sardines along with tons of flyers. Looked to be the place to start after a few minutes mahis then a wahoo bite. After several hours we caught 6 mahis and a 40 + wahoo had a window shopper sail that would not commit after several turns. Around 12:30 we decided to move life had disapeared and bites were few and far between. A 17 mile jaunt down the break put me at the scallop bed which was a little lively and cooler than the water i had run through on the way down 86-87 deg. to 84.5 deg. Fished there the rest of day and banged out 4 more wahoos and several more bites. Saw a free jumper sail and no bites other than the hoo's. At the end of the day we ended up with 5 wahoos and 6 mahis a good day of fishing by any standards.
