MHC fishing report

I am looking at going to Morehead this weekend and might do a little fishing. I know out of OI they are calling for 5' with a NE wind. Thats a little to choppy for me on my boat to run 40 miles Tuna fishing. Anything being caught near shore in MHC not bottom fishing?

The last forecast i saw was 2-5 with a light NW wind. We are going tuna fishing out of Morehead if that forecast holds.

Wheres the spot at. I heard Hoos being caught around the big rock. Anybody got any suggestions. I have only fished out of Morehead once so I don't know all the holes. 2-5 I can handle on Sat. but that 11 I don't want to get close to on my 25'.

If your anywhere between the Swansboro Hole and the Rock you will only be in 100 fathoms or so.

East of 1000 fathoms is a good ways offshore of there.
