MHC 4/3 on the Run-off

I booked this last week after seeing the weather and having the desire to take my boys (8 and 6) offshore. We met the crew at 4:45 and off we wenrt.

Having few bites the day before (trolling) we head WAY south (about 75 miles I think) because one of the other MHC boats has success on 4/2. Needless to say, we spent a long, beautiful day on the water with only 2 fish boated (Amberjack and King) all on the planer rod.

Box and company were fantastic. I learned alot and my boys had a great time, although one felt puny for a while. All the guys were great with the kids and kept them involved to relieve the boredom.

The boys understood that there was no guarantee when fishing and overall took it in strides. My youngest ate nearly everything on the boat and had we had a few hours to lnger, the boat may have been next.

Thanks to the Run-off crew for a great day on the water!

BUT THE ENTERTAINMENT FACTOR FROM JR ANGLER BRAEDON WAS PRICELESS...HE ASKED ME IF I WAS THE GRANDFATHER OF CAPT BRIAN AND OVERBOARD JAKE... I ALMOST FELL OVERBOARD!

I WAS AMAZED AT THE 11 HRS OF PATIENCE OF THESE TWO JR ANGLERS AMIDST THE LACK OF FISHING ACTION.

DON'T GIVE UP ON ME BOYS....I WILL MAKE IT UP TO YA!
