    Merry Marlin 09 Thanksgiving report

Had our family escapade Downeast for Thanksgiving and we were lucky to have the Boss come offshore for a little fishing.... Always amazed at what nature has to offer. We got our biggest mullet to date 26" and the 1st surprise of the day was catching again a grouper with his half tail that we had released over a month ago... 2nd surprise was catching a double of albies on a yozuri plug while we trolled a dozen snake kings.
Water temp. has dropped to 64F, AJ's have moved deeper and the kings have started stacking up. Water sure is starting to look like it'll very soon produce it's first BFT's....
Was nice to see Biscoto and Matt who joined us for supper @ the Mongolian wednesday evening.
The duck hunting has not really started this year in Core sound. A few dippers and sawbills.... Boys rushed back yesterday to hunt the lake, while I prepared some heavy tackle and tried to clean up the garage!
Thanks for coming by Lee it's always nice have a meal with you.
A nice relaxing Thanksgiving with a little slideshow to remember how thankfull we are to have this rich nature around us... Now I need to jump in the tree stand for some backstraps!

Pleasure seeing you and your beautiful family Jacques and thanks a lot for the dinner invite!
Your appreciation of downeast living always comes through loud and clear in your posts and photographs. Loved the finesse grub and sea urchin shot!

    See you next Saturday!

Awesome slides Jacques! Thanks for giving me a reminder of why I love it so much over there!

Hope to see you and the crew soon. This year I will definitely be making a few BFT trips. Hopefully we can team up.

Jacques another nice slide show. We managed to get by to see Wendy at the store, it was very nice meeting her, and a very nice store. We plan on getting back there sometime in the near future.
