Next pic is of a half day surf fishing in Guinea Bissau. A few were kept to feed the Village.
One day we went out trolling for marlin and about 10:am we had a blue come up and eat a skiping tuna. before we knew it another fish came up and ate a skipping dolphin fish. At first we thought the marlin had taken both baits but when the lines started moving in different directions we knew we had a double. 15 seconds after the second hookup a small Killer whale surfaced and to our suprise my dad had him ON!!!! Mama killer whale was right next to him. A couple seconds after my grandpa took this shot
he cut the line. We measured the leader and found out he had swallowed the bait in about a meter.
Three years ago I went back with my dad and my younger bro. we fished 4 days and caught 14 sails and 2 blue marlin. I caught my first blue marlin on the second day. We kept five sails on the first day and realesed the rest of them. All fish were kept for the village.
Squidnation Yeah I miss fishing in Africa but we have had absolutely incredible days off cape lookout. We have not fished for blue marlins because dad doesn't think i'm strong enough to take the leader yet but will get into them next year. We are quite amazed by the amount of fish here in NC and its always a learning experience. I LOVE IT.
