memories of Leeville and what you do when life gives you lemons

My son, Paul, and I loaded up the camper and boat with all of our stuff we had down at Leeville and pulled out Saturday morning.

we have only been down there since April 1st and really, really enjoyed it and will miss it. I spent the night in the camper Friday night and was awaken at 6am to the clammer of 75 to 100 men that were signing in to work on the oil containment. i shot a little video of the scene and will try to get it up some time in the future.


the pictures are of the fun we had in our short time at Leeville. the last picture is of us loaded up to leave.

We got everything back to Baton Rouge about 2pm on Saturday. We unhooked the boat and trailer, i grabbed a few clothes out of the trailer and 3 rods out of the boat and headed to my best friends camp on Calcasieu (Big) Lake.

I will post the pictures of that in another thread called lemon aid!

it will be along time before we are able to enjoy the Leeville, Grand Isle area again. please keep the people that live down there in your prayers.
