First of all, let me thank all of you who stayed home today to do the Mother's Day thing ! You are all good guys and I really appreciated the fact that for once there weren't 8 million boats zipping around trying to catch the same fish! It was a pleasure today. I had the father and son team of Miles and Zach Cook out today for some old fashioned clam dunking. We ran up north to find the warmer water up at Sandy Hook. The fish really didn't wake up until around 11:00 AM, but then it was game on and we quickly got our limit and ran back to the dock. It was a beautiful day, flat seas, few boats, hungry fish, and Mother's Day dinner ! What could be better?? Live lining bunker is right around the corner!!
