Is the mate important??
You bet he is.
I am pleased to introduce Brian Taylor who is joining the "Big Easy" team. Brian is a gifted and intuitive fisherman with years of experience. He is a past winner of the Hatteras Village open. He has lived most of his life on Hatteras and fishing is his life. Here are a few of his catches. I am happy to have him join our team. Last edited by bigeasy; 01-20-2007 at 07:17 AM. |

Cliff,
Congratulations on the new mate, sounds like you are looking forward to this season. Brian, welcome! I look forward to seeing both of you in Hatteras in a couple of months....unless Cliff needs to replace the batteries on the Big Easy, in which case I may go hide

I have also helped change the batteries on the Big Easy. How big do batteries get????????I know it is hard to replace Charles but I wish the best of luck to you! I will miss the times we have hunted the Bluefins in "Get Moorehead" together and all the other times I have enjoyed on the Big Easy! See Ya soon!

A MATE IS THE DIPLOMAT OF THE PIT NO MATTER HOW THE BITE IS HE MUST KEEP THE ATTENTION OF THE PARTY FOCUSED AT ALL TIMES MAKING IT A MEMORABLE TRIP NO MATTER WHAT. FROM A PRIVATE STANDPOINT HE HAD BETTER MAKE THE BOSS THINK HE IS DOING ALL HE CAN NO MATTER WHAT TO ENTICE A BITE NO MATTER HOW SLOW THE FISHING IS.
