No Bike week for Myrtle Beech?I was gonna come down and finnally meet you..Me and a bunch of Bikers were making reservations when the Hotel told us they dont want us there anymore??WHY?We spend more money than any other group "that includes tourist" out there.The city council says it got to big.Its starting to sound like people from up here Mass,N.Y.,Vt.Ct,N.H. are going down there in droves and screwing up your beautiful state.They say there gonna have NEW helmet laws more cops and that means more tickets.And the reason "It got to big"!!!.So what does the Carolina Harley Dealers do they say F-UM its been 68 years this bike week has been at Myrtle Beech and the city council says no more than well move it!!!!!They called The mayor T.A. Bayliss of New Bern North Carolina and he said Quote"We are pleased and honored that you have chosen to hold your rally in our city, and we pledge our total cooperation in making your rally a most pleasurable and memorable occasion for all in attendance".Wait till they see the money that comes into that city..I know you have nothing to do with Myrtle Beech but I thought you would like to know.As far as my friends and I were gonna wait till October down in Daytona again this will be the 12 year we go down there.Well wait to see what happens in New Bern this year and hopefully well plan on making it next year. Yep Steve, I found out about this about this first of Febuary this year. Sorry that they will not have in MB but on a brighter side, New Bern is only 30 mins. from Morehead City and 1 & 1/2 hours from Wilmington...

I heard bike in MB is still going on everybody is just boycotting all the businesses in the city limits of MB. I always thought most of the good stuff was south of the city limits anyway. If anybody needs a place to stay down by surfside shoot me a PM I believe the condo is still available.

It's on...just everybody is not going into the City Proper !!!...screw em..they don't want the bikers there but all the fine establishments outside of the city proper that are always open for business will be there with open arms...lots of accomodations outside the city limits....It's gonna be a hoot !....Bob

I heard it was off.They even didnt want to take our reservations for the room.I understand that when you get 500,000 bikers that it will put people out of there way but its only for a week and half the people dont show up till thursday.Ive been going to daytona now going on 13 years and every buisness down there says the same thing the bikers bring in the money.They will tell you that the race fans are cheap and very pushy and spring break well you have a bunch of kids raising hell enough said but they love the bikers.You would think the economy the way it is they would love to have it.I grew up near a Navel Base and once or twice a year the Blue Angels used to come in and fly you would think you were in the middle of Iraq they fly that low but the buisnesses loved it.Traffic sucked the noise and the people would park all over the place but you have to look at it as only 1or 2 weekends a year.They would make more money in that one weekend then they would make in a year.I really mean what I say I think the MOONBATS that have screwed this state up so much our filtering there way down there.Is Myrtle Beech filled with that many tourist that it dosent need the money?Well any how we were gonna charter the Run-Off a day or two but it sucks that we have to change our plans.I thought that I was gonna finally meet the Box and all you good people down there.Maybe next year.As far as Myrtle Beech is concerned we were told there is going to be alot of trouble this year and you would be better off staying away.

Bike week is on!! I live here and Im tellin you its on!! Yes the Holyier than Thou City Council is trying to run off everyone from Myrtle Beach. By doing this they think they will kill two birds with one stone! Idiots! The one bunch that actually spends a ton of dough and they want to run them off.

Myrtle Beach is not the only game in town Man, North Myrtle Beach is with open arms to you guys and all the other cities are welcoming you. Just if you go through MB, put your helmet on and call me if you get into trouble.

Now come on down and party with us, HB SPOKES is three miles from my home. Get out and ride in the country a bit and see the sites, we want you and your yankee dollars......I PROMISE!!
