Marty looking for advice
Marty,
I just picked up 2 squidnation teaser squid chains... the
12"rasta daisy chain and the 12" natural dropper daisy chain. I was able to get them out into the spread last weekend while targetting for SBFT but only for a few minutes due to the abundance of blue fish we had in the spread. I've got to tell ya I really like what we saw and want to get them into the spread this weekend on our trip to the NE Canyons.
We will be targetting YF and Albacore but one never knows when whitey or a blue may show up.
The question is this, when you guys pull these, where do you like to run them as teasers and do you ever set them up with a stinger bait? If yes to the stinger, what do you suggest? Thanks in advance for your input
.
BTW Terry's not sold on them just yet but I would like to make him a believer..please help!

MJ.......I LOVE TO USE SQUIDS AS DAISEY CHAIN TEASERS.....THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HEARING A 6/0 SENATOR SCREAMING THERES A BILLFISH OR TUNA ON ME!!!
I HAVE SEEN PLENTY OF SUCCESS OVER THE YEARS WITH TEASER SQUID CHAINS......WHICH INCLUDES WATCHING A 600 LBER MAUL AN AU NATURELLE SQUIDNATION A WHILE BACK AND CAUGHT HER ON A DROPPED BACK SPANISH.... www.wahoonbox.com/videos/NOBILL3.wmv
WHILE I DO NOT TEND TO PULL CHAINS WITH A HOOK IN THE LAST BAIT...I DO KNOW THIS A FAVORITE METHOD FOR MANY ANGLERS....AND YOU SHOULD USE THIS IN YOUR WATERS NORTH...
I WILL MAKE ONE COMMENT HERE AS TO WHY I DO NOT USE CHAINS WITH A STINGER OR HOOKED BAIT IN THEM....WITH EVERY BAIT I HAVE IN MY SPREAD, WAHOONBOX IS THINKING BILLFISH
BILLFISH BILLFISH BILLFISH.........AND IF A DIRTY WHITE ONE OR SAILDOG POPS UP BEHIND MY BAIT, I KNOW I HAVE A SOLID FIGHTING CHANCE TO HOOK HIM..............BECAUSE WITH A CHAINBAIT....MY HOOKUP ODDS ARE SOMEWHAT LESSENED
IF I HAVE OUTRIGGERS I USE THE DAISEY CHAIN SQUIDS OFF MY RIGGERS POSITIONED JUST INFRONT AND TO THE SIDE OF MY FLATLINE BAIT.....OR....POSITION THE SQUIDS TO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH A SHORT RIGGER BAIT
IF YOU HAVE NO RIGGERS THEN USE THE CHAIN OFF A CLEAT
