Hey Mark,
I remember a while back you were going to do a series on lighthouses and the fish that were caught in the vicinity of them. Snapped this picture of Oak Island on the way in Saturday for ya.

Nice shot of the light. Now where are the pics of the fish you caught?
I did not think anybody would want to see a huge net full of pogies. We went out to Lighthouse rock but it was too bouncy so we came in and trolled inshore. Had one king cut the bait but wasn't hooked up so i pulled line off in free spool in hopes he would come back. couple of other cutoffs from small spanish. I ended up grinding pogies for chum for the US Open when I got in.
At least you got out there. I bet you'll get a chance to get a shot of "Old Baldie" during the US Open.
It is always great to see the Oak Island as it means that we are almost home, but I swear that has to be 1 of the ugliest lighthouse's there is...![]()

Robja, I'm trying to get back to starting the lighthouses again soon. I appreciate the pic. I agree with Lee, it is damn ugly unless your lost out there then it is a beautiful sight. I'll just have to make the fish I paint next to it pretty so it gets more attention than the lighthouse!![]()
