Has anyone experimented with replacing the trebles with j-hooks or circles on these types of lures? (3 treble hooks)
I find that these are some of the most fish damaging lures out there.
Removing the front treble hook does not seem to affect the running of most of the lures, but single aft hooks would sure help with a water release.
I use the stretch 25 and lg Rapalas most often.

I have changed the hooks out. The only thing is you need to play around with various size hooks to get the action right. Too large will make the lure run off on its side and too small you'll miss alot of fish.

Stretch 30 works well with 3407 9/0.
