Mama had a blast

Well after spending the 1st half of the week with Mr. Box in his rigging school covering anything and everything (if you have been through you know what I mean) I was chomping to get out and use the tricks, tool and goodies that I came away with. But wait it is Mothers day weekend and Ive got to figure out a way to have her think it is all about her. Ive got it, a family day I run it by the boss and I got a hookup. I call her brother his wife and and invite them (its my nephew's b-day 12 years old). By the time we get everyone at the dock the next am it is 9:30 lines in the water at 11 beautiful ride out. Get my spread out (outriggers are working great BOX) and about an hour into it BAM short left screams put the B-day boy on it and it is game on this fish made a man out of him. 37# Wahoo on TLD25 on 80# fluoro in the box. Everyone was involved and we were pumped especially the B-day boy on his first ever Wahoo. Troll for a few more hours and thing are very sloooow not hearing much or the radio either. We start to troll in a bit I was told that we have be back at the dock by 4:30 and just B4 time to pull them in right short gets hit just in time. My daughters turn and she brings in a 15# Mahi its all good. Packem up an back right on time. Not bad to only have from 11-2:30 to produce.

Thanks Bill, I sure do get a lot out of sharing my passion for fishing with others especially kids. I just moved down from Raleigh not to long ago and am learn the area and meeting some great folks. I go by MHC Yacht Basin on the way to my boat at Olde Towne I will defiantly stop in to meet ya.
