MAC or NOT-

you are correct, not EVERYTHING is plug and play. but a lot is.

Like I said above, there are applications for both and pros and cons to both. Just depends on what you are looking for.

Have you ever had a mac?
Plug and play is a great concept....unfortunately, for me and my PC.....that's all it is.....a concept. Nothing ever works without having to reload drivers, torgue converters, and reeferjet connections on my machine.
I have yet to speak with anyone who actually owned a MAC with anything bad to say.

i have not owned one cause i never saw the need to pay the extra money, and they are a little more expensive. I've never had problems with my PC's beyond one fried harddrive on a 4 yr old laptop. I have played around with MAC's quite a bit that friends owned or at school, and I just didn't like the interface. But they are excellent for media manipulation. All of the artists/musicians/video makers I know use them and love them.
