Lure building?

Great work , that is some pretty nice looking lures

Would be a great idea for a contest, the most original lure that someone can make

Here are a few of the ones I have made. Some are made from metals.... (aluminum, brass, and stainless) some are resin heads. Resin is easier to work with and customize. I also make wahoo bombs out of a jig mold (take a jig mold and run a egg sinker pin (the thing that makes the hole in it) through it.) then throw a skirt on it, and use it to pick up seconds when a hooter hits!
I have a trick to making birds, but havent taken any pics of them!

yeah, that first lure is slanted and cupped. The inner skirt is a glow skirt--made to drag at night.

They are some awesome lures! I think I need to find out how to make some.

Heres some jigs I made for the fresh, they aren't flash but they sure work.

Im making some bigger ones for the salt.

I dont know, I havent been able to try it yet. Most of them have been sitting by idle waiting for me to get offshore. I was on my way out in Jan when the boat lost power. We did drag a few on the 10 mile limp in, and they looked good! I am sure a wahoo or Mahi will crush it as soon as I get it in front of one!

Unfortunately, I am not going to get much wet time soon, as I decided to pull the trigger on marriage!
