Took some local boys out that I met on the Florida Sportsman forum for some tarpon and snook action. The tarpon were scarce but the snook started to eat late. Once the bite turned on I was ready to release 20 or so but the bull shark that was roaming off Fort Lauderdale beach had different ideas. We caught two nice snook in a row, and Brett was working on a really nice fish when the bull shark crushes this 20 lber.
The shark spooked the fish for a while and then the tide went slack so the fishing slowed down. After the tide turned the fish started to pass through again and Blake and Brett really started putting a whoopin on the snook.

That is a killer night! Way to put them on the LUNKERS Capt Jeff! I love reading your reports...gets me all fired up for some tackle busters. I am coming to see you one day if it kills me.
