Live update from the Bite Me

we are fishing the Bite Me in the Eddie Hanomen Sail Fish tourney up around Dallas Rock.
Our own Gottafly Lee released a sail a while ago.
We are picking up the DU tourney in MHC as well.
Our own Trophy has released a sail up there. Pole Position released Blue. Tuna Taxi with Bill Glenn and company were hooked up earlier but it pulled the hook.
I have Matt (ILMJMS) on board, my kid and 2 of his buddies and the Biscuit himself running the boat.
It is dead calm out here with a cloudless sky.
Nothing for us yet......

I was out at the 10 mile boxcar this morning and the motor f'ed up so I trolled in. lost 1 dolphin about 8 miles out he was about 8 or 10lbs

I did see a sail freejumping right when I pulled up but I didn't bother to catch him since I wasn't in the tournament.

Just heard from my Friend Ken(Captian of Wild Life Management) they boated one 50lb BFT and all the dolphin they could handle . He said the weather and conditions were great! he is fishing the Massey area. More details and hopefully a few pics to follow. Hopefully we can go and do it again tomm when I get out of this office! sounds like it could be a good weekend!

we raised two fish today but failed to connect. one window shopper behind the dredge and one fish made a lousy attempt to eat the right short mousetrap. back at it again in the AM with a slightly different game plan.

and congrats to capt lee and tidal market dickie/russel on their fish....pretty work fellas.

Good luck fellas. Its tough out there and you got to make your chances count sucks when they won't eat. All we got today is 3 hoos and jumped off a sail. Tomorrow is another day and the front isn't that far ahead.

Had a great day with my good friends Lou and Matt on the "Bite me" today. Rumor has it that there was some teenage boys on board, but I never saw them!
I must say that the dink spread Lou and Matt kept dancing behind the boat looked fantastic all day long!
Raising two fish, even though we did not hook up, has exceeded the modest expectations of "team Knucklehead". Going looking again tomorrow.
