Little taste of some topwater bluefin action

    Hey Marty,

Don't have time to post much as I am fishin hard, but figured I'd introduce myself to your world with a little taste from mine. I do post a bit in the NE forum, but am trying to get a bit more involved in this site . The video was from earlier this month on a 100 class bft, shot and narrated by one of my clients. enjoy

The bluefin bite up here in CC Bay is a pretty exciting fishery, especially when done on topwater gear. Nothing beats actually watching an outsized tuna crash a plug on the surface. I have had 2 baby giants on wispy gear this year, a 77" and 75" inch, a few pics attached. The anglers involved in this fishery are all serious, well skilled dudes with good quality gear, and I can handle them critters once boatside.

I do read late at night lurker style, and appreciate your straightforward approach and awesome footage. I will post up the 270 pound slob video once my angler edits and gets it up.

I cant imagine the strike on a giant topwater with a popper

Must look like a bomb in the water.

    Pretty work.
