TODAY HAS BEEN MY FIRST MORNING HOME WITH JANE IN WEEKS....SHE LEAVES TODAY FOR 10 DAYS AND I CONTINUE ON WITH A TORRID JULY CHARTER SCHEDULE........AND WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE THE BUSINESS LET ME TELL YA!...

MAHIS HAVE BEEN THE MAIN SOURCE OF THE ACTION THIS YEAR....I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES WE HAVE LIMITED OUT ....NOW HAVE THERE BEEN MANY GAFFERS? NOPE....BUT IT ALL TASTES THE SAME ON A PIECE OF WHITE BREAD DON'T IT!

WE HAVE REALLY ENJOYED ANOTHER ADDITION TO THE RUN-OFF FAMILY....THE AE UTILITY ROD...YOU'VE HEARD OF THE UTILITY INFIELDER IN BASEBALL....THIS IS THE OFFSHORE UTILITY COCKPIT ROD...THANKS KEVIN FOR PROVIDING THE OFFSHORE ENTERTAINMENT!....WHETHER IT BE JIGGING, TROLLING A DINK ON THE FLAT OR PITCHING OUT TO ONCOMING MAHI....THE ONCE ROD OF THE FUTURE IS NOW THE ROD OF OF TODAY....ANGLER'S ENVY UTILITY ROD....THERE ARE NO SLOB MAHIS IN THIS VIDEO CLIP...BUT THERE COULD BE.....YOU GOT TO JUST KEEP PLUGGING ALONG AND THE PIGS WILL SOON SHOW UP IN YOUR SPREAD...




YESTERDAY....IN 14 FATHOMS....60 SLINGER ALL TROLLING MAHI WENT TO THE BOX BY 8:20.....GAME OVER....THEN IT WAS OFF TO THE DEEP LOOKING FOR A BILLFISH OR THREE.....ONE SAILDOG DID COME PILING IN ON MY RIGHT FLAT DINK AND I WAS ABLE TO PICK HIM OFF...I HAVE HEARD GOOD REPORTS FROM 90 MILES SOUTH THAT THE DOGS ARE COMING SOON AND ARRIVE JUST IN TIME FOR THE BARTA TOURNAMENT NEXT WEEK.

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE SIGHTS I HAVE ENJOYED OFFSHORE THIS SUMMER...ALSO MET UP WITH CRAPPIECRAZY ON THE WATER ONE DAY WHILE HEADING OUT TO FIND SOME AMERICAN MACKERAL...NO SHEEPSHEAD IS SAFE WHEN HE IS ON THE WATER!
