i said man.. i talked to adam about once a month in the past several months and that boat has almost 1000 hours on her.. oh and wait.. she is on her way south right now..

Box hope you don't mind if I put this here. I went in the tackle shop today to get some treble hooks and light wire to rig up my live bait rigs you guys helped me out with. Well the lady that was working there starts "helping" me find what I want. This is fine as I really don't go into this store that often and they are always changing it around. She asks what I am fishing for and I tell her King Mackerel. The woman looks at me and says let me show you these real hot baits for kings. Everyone has been coming in raving about them so it peaked my curiosity a little bit. She walks me over to the section they have for black bart lures and picks up one of his san sal candy baits and says here this is it. I looked at her and said I have one of those that I use for wahoo sometimes. She looked at me and said well wait that one isn't it but it is this color. Then she picks up the one next to it which happened to be in the same color and says this is it see it even says pink mackerel on the label. I just shook my head and walked away. I was dressed in my work attire which consists of a button up shirt I guess that made her think I was a complete idiot. I had already spent about $200 in the store and she was trying to get me to buy a $50 Black bart lure because it was a "great mackerel bait because the tag said pink mackerel on it" I mean WTF.

See its that kinda stuff right there that gives women in this industry a bad rap........I wonder how many other poor bastards she got before you

I will say one thing though....i once saw my x sell a 50 Penn International to a complete googen, had him buying everything in the store too.......the next day they fished together - a little inshore trip during the slow season (LMAO) that guy caught blue fish after bluefish on that thing and he was so proud of it....i could barely contain myself - However i think i got my karma....cause the guy got stuck with the rod...and i got stuck with the x.

All I know is the guy that owns the store lost a decent customer because of her. I don't go in there often but when I do I usually spend between $200 and $500. That is without going in there with specific large items I need. Oh well. Glad my buddy is a Henry's dealer he will get all of my business now.

Plus don't you know women can't do anything right.

There's a shop in my area where the sales people follow you around like puppies to make sure you don't shop lift anything. I had one guy that would try to take anything out of my hand that I picked up.
I finally told him "Dude I'm here to shop not steal" he said he didn't like my attitude so I handed him the basket I had with about $200 of lures in it, told him to keep them safe and walked out the door.

I was just screwing around. I do know a couple of women that have been right once or twice ones my boss the others my mom.
