    Line to Swivel - Crimp

Greetings - Having a brain fart induced most likely by summer alcohol intake

Attempting to crimp line to a snap swivel. I've seen on some rigs, where the eye of the swivel has 2 legs of the line through it before it is crimped. It almost looks like a "half hitch" of sorts. Anyone got a pic or how to?

    Thanks

    No Pictures,

But if I think I know what you're talking about. Run your line thru the swivel make a cicle (loop), take the bitter end and tuck it thru the loop twice. Then crimp the tag end as usual. It'll give you a double salvage loop. I use it on all od my heavy or "long" use connections, like birds, spreader bars, etc.... Frank
