    Limit Limit Limit

Guys, it has been fantastic fishing down here in the great state of Louisiana, I went out with my brother and a good friend Eric in the 19ft Skeeter ZX and just had a blast. We fished an area called Hopedale which is approx. 50 minutes from New Orleans. Picked up 75 live shrimp and 2lbs of dead shrimp and with that we headed to the marsh. Our first stop was in Lake Robin and the trout and reds were feeding up with the occasional drum. We put about 30 trout in the box with 3 reds, then moved to another spot called Bottle Lagoon and put 20 more trout in the box and 2 reds. By this time it was 11 o'clock and decided to call it a day, but we ran into some birds diving and as fast as you could put your line in the water you were treated to a speckle trout. Finished the day with 75 trout 5 keeper reds and 3 drum. Here are a couple of pics from the day. Alot of fish in the marsh right now!!!

    Brandon,

We catch them usually between 5-10 lbs. I prefer the ones just over the 16" mark so the don't dull up the knives They do have some that get huge, they get to swim free on my boat
