    Lil' Ocean yak report 5/25

    well, me and a couple buds paddled out around 7 this morn, figured we'd try and get into a few blues/spanish maybe, then anchor up and setup for some cobes.

    had all the spanish you could want, had one 20lb cobe swim directly under my yak so close i felt him when he went under it. oh well

    anyway, heres a couple pics and a small vid, pardon' my language in the vid.

    they are def around...to many people out there close in today, in my opinion anyway, as the day got later, boats got worse and worse.

    im talkin 24' boats, in 9' of water on the 2nd bar, running planners, gotta love watching that lol...100yrds off the beach...and they all come up to you wondering what in the world you are doing with fishing rods on a plastic boat

    macpe6,not sure if he is a member here, i think he is. he just got back from iraq for the second time early march.

    ill post some more, i think ill run out tomorrow too, hopefully wont be as many boats, ill be able to anchor up, get the chum going and hope for a cobe gaff + bat at the ready

    i could get all the spanish ya want as long as that weather stays like it is...hopefully with the wind switch, it'll be ok in the early a.m.

    no, unfortunately i am a moron. water was slick as glass til around 1 when the breeze picked up, but would have been PERFECT to launch the kayaks...

    fished the pier instead, left around noon ,about an hour after i left they decked a 58lb cobe, go figure.

    depending on what this sw wind does tonight, im gona ride to the beach at 5am tomorrow, hopefully it'll be slick and ill get a shot.

    oh, saw a 25-30lbr chase a bait today too...
