I found a good deal on a couple 2 speeds so I guess I'll have singles and 2s. Seeing my 5'2" wife try to manipulate an 80 with a broom stick for YF was embrassing. Hopefully she/we will be more comfortable in the future. From what I can tell, from bream and crappie to offshore, you only need about 75-100 different rod/reel combos, along with 1M in terminal tackle. Makes the boat and gas seem cheap. Did I say that?

you got that right. I moved (again) recently, and was like.... when did I buy that reel? I forgot about that rod.... etc etc

Literally.... I had a garage full of fishing stuff. I only really seem to use about 1/8th of it. Sad thing is, I am always looking to buy more.

Oh, did I mention that all of this is AFTER I gave about 8 rods and reel combos to a couple of kids from my church?

One day I am going to have a garage sale that cripples the fishing tackle manufatures. Currently, I am keeping them in business.
