I have so much junk that i can't work in my shop anymore. i have been planning on adding on, so everything has just been piling up in the shop.

here are the before and during construction pictures from this weekend..... my framing gun starting blowing air so it is back to hammer and nails. but i hope to have the outside walls and the doorway in the existing shop cut out in the next day or so.

the addition is 8 x 16 with a 4 foot overhang. the existing shop is 12 x16.

the addition will have shelving units along all 4 walls. it will mainly be storage so i can organize the various and sundry items i have accumulated over the last 20 or so years. my existing shop is set up pretty nice it has about 20 feet of cabinets with standing height work surfaces.

do any of you have a storage system that keeps your shop organized? i would love to see and hear about it.

those are the cheap ones that are shorter than 8' for stud walls. that is all i know about them.

Lowtide is going to love the interior of your shop. Maybe he can redo his garage for his barbie car with pink studs.

You're going to love the tin roof during rain. Be careful as to not allow it to put you to sleep! Especially if the "Tide" comes in for a visit.

well hopefully somebody will have some great organizing and storing hints that will help us both with getting use out of our great space.

i was spending more time trying to find the tools i needed for a project than the project would take.

i don't have any problem with pink. most things that are good are pink in the middle anyway
