sign me up, april is better than august. I actually double brew mine in the am cause I can't find anything to jump start my hard-drive with just a single brew so needless to say bring some of the super duty for me.

LaGringa and I are both morning coffee fanatics. We buy espresso and brew it like it was normal grind, and the two of us split a 12 cup pot every morning.

We like it strong. We brew coffee that will bitchslap you if you don't pay attention to it. Coffee so strong you can't use plastic spoons to stir it. Coffee that makes rustling noises, and has been known to get dragged home in handcuffs. Our coffee removes rust stains, and can be used to touch up gun bluing.

Yeah, we like it.

We normally buy either Pilon or Bustelo....depends on what we can get at the store here.

Hi jp,

Gringo is correct. We are your favorite kind of coffee drinker. I used to manage an espresso bar back in the day. I won't drink anything BUT - however, brewing espresso every day is a bit much. So I just started brewing it in the regular pot. It's a nice punch in the morning though I drink it with lots of cream (no sugar - pitooey!).

Here in the Turks & Caicos we generally go for Cafe Bustelo or Pilon. Both roasted in Miami by Rowlands - not sure where the beans come from. But those are our limited choices and we're actually quite happy with them.

Also, I am fascinated with the idea that you live in El Salvador! I have lots of friends there that I went to high school with and Gringo and I are hoping to plan a trip there. Would love to see some photos if you feel up to posting some!

Talking

Personally, the best way to brew coffee is with a French press. I like it with a medium dark and I use 12 grams per cup (6onz).
Ill drink 2 (20onz) per day, one in the morning and one after lunch. But In between I have to cup. So I get my daily high dose of caffeine.http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/...ons/icon10.gif

Deep C , Robja ,if funny because the cost guard just capture a fishing boat with 1000 kilos of square groupers.http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/...cons/icon6.gif

Gringos, It will be a pleasure to have ypu down here, at the oficee we got 3 espressos machines so you can all the espresso you want.http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/...cons/icon7.gif
Just let me know and I can prepare nice trips to the farms.
Saludos
