Leader Line?

Don't know if this is the right forum, but here goes. Which leader line do ya'll use? A local tackle shop is going out of business and they have some triple fish leader for not much money. Is triple fish any good?

Also, what is the difference between 30yds of 100lb leader and a 300 yard spool of 100lb line. Can regular fishng line be used as leader material?

Back in the day when I used to go alot all we used was 100lb Jinkai leader and 50# Ande line on 6/0 Senators. Of course that was back in the mid 90's.

Definately better off buying the big spool of 100 lb line vs. multiple skiens of 100 lb leader. Same thing.

Like Bryan said, for 80 and 100# leaders I just use mono off the spool. You will have to buy leader coils above that, though.
