Went fishing with great friends last weekend on Big Lake. it was probably the best trip I have ever been on. we caught our limit Friday and Saturday. i have some great video of catching a lot of trout on topwater baits in the lights. i will try to get a video up some time this week......that HD stuff is still kicking my butt.

Nice catch! I'm not familiar with Big Lake. Is that near Lake Charles / Calcasieu? I have a good friend from Baton Rouge who owns a place down in Dulac. We had to cancel our annual trip back in June due to the spill. I hope the clean up efforts are successful. I love south Louisiana. Don't think there is better fishing anywhere.

sorry for the confusion. the colloquill name for Calcasieu lake is Big Lake.
